Chick's web site shows only an extract from a larger work.  We enter this story part way through.  Dr. Lind appears to be a Young Earth Creationist. Note the age of the sources Chick quote mines from.

Panels 1 and 2

Finlayson:  Dr. Lind, are you a physician?
Lind:  No, Dr. Finlayson, I'm an anthropologist.
Finlayson:  Then evolution is right down your alley.
Lind:  Oh, yes ... I'm very familiar with the subject.

Panels 3 and 4

Lind:  May I be blunt?
Finlayson:  Of course, Dr. Lind.
Lind:  I believe evolution is one of the cruelest hoaxes ever invented!

Panels 4 and 5

Finlayson:  Let's go back to Mrs. Leakey's find.  That also shoots down your Bible, which places Adam and Eve around 10,000 years or less!
Lind: [Leakey's] dating techniques are off!
Finlayson:  Of, come on, now!  How could you possibly question the reliability of carbon-14, potassium argon, the uranium lead method, or other radiometric methods?
Lind:  Let me share some little known facts.
Finlayson:  Please do!

Panel 6

Lind:  * A living mussel was dated using carbon-14 ... the reading showed it had been dead for 3,000 years

Finlayson:  You mean it was still alive?
Lind:  Yes, it was still alive!

Straw man What "Lind" didn't mention is that mollusks and snails do this because they absorbed decayed carbon from the environment.

Lind:  Lava rocks were checked in Hawaii by the potassium argon method ... it was said they were almost 3 billion years old!

Lind:   No! ... it erupted in 1801!

Lind:  Do you know how long it would take for erosion, like rain and rivers, to wash away everything above sea level?
Finlayson:  Oh, that would take billions of years.
Lind:  No! ... just * 14 million years.  If the Earth were one billion years old our continents would have eroded away some 70 times.

Panels 9 and 10

Lind:  Here's another goodie ... if * 14,300,000 tons of meteoritic dust falls on the Earth each year ... the same dust falls on the moon. In 5 billion years, it would be ** 137 feet deep.

Lind: (cont.)  How come on the first manned lunar flight Neil Armstrong's footprint only went into 1/8 inch of dust?
Finlayson:  (Gasp) ... It's ... it's a young moon!  I think I'm going to be sick!

Don't panic Dr. Finlayson, for this is just the "moon dust" argument that most Young Earth Creationist have abandoned.  Young Earth Creationists even warn against using it;

"This [moon dust accumulation] remained a mystery until new meteor flux measurements in the early 1970's were far lower, consistent with the measured depth of lunar dust and an old age. Creationists apparently were ignorant of these newer measurements that were consistent with an ancient moon, and were rightly criticized for this lapse. Snelling and Rush have reevaluated this issue, and they recommended against using this argument for recent creation."
